The day is fast approaching, and Leeds is ready: The Grand Reopening!

21st June marks the point on the roadmap all restrictions are due to be lifted and Leeds’s nightlife can finally get back on its feet, and we couldn’t be more ready for it. In preparation for the big day, we’ve compiled a list of events taking place to celebrate this milestone moment, so everyone in Leeds has the opportunity to get out and welcome the return of life as we knew it.

If tech-house is your thing, this is the place to be on June 21st! The Warehouse is hosting this huge ‘first rave back’ to celebrate being able to party as we did before, playing house music loud enough that you might just forget about all the worries of the past year.

As restrictions lift during the day, the festivities will begin long before the rave as there’s a host of daytime events and pre-parties leading up to the main event that night.

With a £10 entry price, you’re all set to enjoy Leeds’s big return to the rave!

This event includes music from 30 local DJ’s, creating sets that will have you jumping around like never before. Not only that, but the event is split over three different rooms, meaning there’s a variety of different music offerings from several genres at only £5 a ticket. It really is an event for everyone, so if you’re wanting to party as a group but don’t know how to split your music tastes, The Old Red Reunion might just be the answer.

Free entry is what we like to hear, and that’s exactly what’s offered at Distrikt’s Return to the Dancefloor. With a huge line-up of regular DJs, you’ll never be at a loss for tunes or a good time as you and your friends party back together and make up for lost time.

Beaverworks is pulling out all the stops for a night like no other to mark the end of lockdown. With an underground party, Walkabout Performers, live music, DJ’s, fancy dress and 8 sound systems, you’re not even halfway to what this night has to offer! There’s also a whole host of outdoor events, including a bonfire, fireworks and a whole fairground, complete with attractions.

The event runs until 5:30 in the morning, and you’ll need every hour to cram in all Beaverworks has to offer and make up for everything missed in one amazing night of partying.

If you’re chomping at the bit to get out on June 21st, this is definitely the event for you. Opening at one minute past midnight on June 20th, you can get partying from the very first second the restrictions lift and make the most of everything the following day has to offer.

Hosted at Mint Warehouse, the line-up has not yet been released. For more information, visit:

The Comeback: Quids-in at PRYZM

PRYZM has always been known for its quids-in Mondays, but this is set to be the biggest one yet, as they themselves say, it will be ‘The Biggest Monday Night Party in the World!’ The main arena is set to play the traditional cheesy tunes we all love to hate, and features games, stage shows and singalongs. If that wasn’t enough on its own, it’s other rooms offer R&B and hip-hop, as well as the return of the disco room, playing classic throwback indie tracks on it’s showstopping light-up dancefloor.

Mint Warehouse: Day and Night Terrace Party

With a 3pm-11pm terrace party hosted by System, and 3pm-6am party in the main room hosted by Mint Warehouse, there won’t be a wasted minute or moment of boredom at this reopening celebration. With two special guests and resident DJs Annie Errez and Bobby O’Donnell, it’s guaranteed to be a night worthy to mark the beginning of the nightlife we knew before.
