Abi Whistance is a music journalist and DJ from Wolverhampton, currently residing in Leeds. Working with the likes of CLASH, Come Play With Me, the Yorkshire Evening Post and BBC Radio Leeds, she embedded herself within the Leeds music scene upon arrival in 2018, and has continually worked to provide a platform for those in it. As founder of music site To The Local, she supports up and coming musicians in Yorkshire and strives to help them find their fame, be it through providing them with written content, interview opportunities or gig slots.
