Leeds Club Mint Warehouse, will host a charity rave event on Saturday 27 April 2019, in memory of The Prodigy’s Keith Flint.The Prodigy are one of the most successful electronic acts in British history, who achieved popularity and worldwide recognition, with successful UK number 1 hits such as Breathe and Firestarter,
The 49 year old was found dead in his home on March 4th following suicide, putting even more emphasis on growing mental health issues and how common these are today.Mint Warehouse will aim to raise money for mental health charities CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserabley) and Mind.
All ticket sales will go to the charities with a 50% split for both. The tour, created in collaboration with NLA Artists, will be UK-wide celebration of the music Keith & The Prodigy inspired.
The fundraiser was originally planned as a one off event in London, however the popularity has led to events also being arranged in Manchester, Southend, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and of course Leeds! DJ’s will play music by the Prodigy as well as music inspired by the legendary group, with all artists waiving their fees.
