Paul Bromley’s 80s Experience

Paul’s been troubling transmitters all over Yorkshire and beyond since 1988! He started at the old Pennine Radio in Bradford and lived through the exciting transition as it became The Pulse in 1991, before heading to Viking FM, Stray FM, and Signal on the wrong side of the Pennines!

As the 90s came to a close, Paul was back on the air in his home county of West Yorkshire and did the breakfast show for 4 years on Ridings FM before setting up and being the first boss at Dearne FM.

Paul works out of Leeds railway station on the railway now but got his 80s Experience programme up and running in early 2017. At one point it was syndicated on dozens of stations but PB is now pleased to bring a new dance version of the show to LDC Radio!

Whether you were around in the 80s or not, enjoy the electronica, the up-tempo soul, dance, disco, power pop, early hip-hop and so much more from the decade that also witnessed the birth of house!
