Rate My Takeaway’s Danny Malin tries his ‘best mixed grill ever’ and it’s in Yorkshire

The happy go lucky kebab-eating youtuber who reviews the best food across the UK and further afield, has said it is back home in Yorkshire where he tried his ‘best mixed grill’ ever recently.

Former butcher Danny Malin is particular about his meat and was unsure of what a mixed grill would taste like in the venue he knew as a former working men’s club Sheepscar.

But on entering what’s now reopened as the Sheepscar Bar and Grill in Chapel Allerton in Leeds the Barnsley lad was impressed with the instagrammable decor, sports bar area and stunning terrace.

Danny said: “It doesn’t look much from the outside but it’s a real hidden gem when you enter.”

Sheepscar Bar and Grill has a decadent menu of indo-chinese food, traditional Indian and English bar snacks.

“Apparently it’s all about the grill here so I had to try that and it was absolutely banging, the best mixed grill I’ve ever had.”

Sheepscar has won several awards for their mixed grill and been nominated for the ‘Curry Oscars’ aka the National Curry Awards.

The venue serves up authentic curries as well as having a mixture of meat and vegetarian friendly grill items on the menu. It also serves as an events venue catering for functions and weddings.
