LUTV presenter Emma Jones on the halfway point of a thrilling first season back in the Premier League.

Can you believe we’re halfway through the season?

And what a season it’s been! It’s flown by, but we’ve got so many amazing memories already.

The results, performances and goals have exceeded all expectations and it means, overall, we’ve had a pretty stress-free return to the top flight.

In fact, things are going from strength to strength off the pitch as well.

The 49ers announced this week that they have increased their stake in the club and I was fortunate enough to speak to new Vice Chairman Paraag Marathe and, of course, Chairman, Andrea Radrizzani and their optimism about the future of this club was wonderful to witness.

Leeds United has once more cemented it’s place at the heart of the community, by opening its doors to those who have been invited for the Covid vaccine.

I love that Leeds was the first Premier League club to offer its facilities as a vaccination centre. It speaks volumes about the desire to be a beacon within the city.
