The Back to Rave show brings you the best of the UK underground music scene. Breakbeat, hardcore, jungle and drum and bass spanning the 90s to present day, with new music from labels currently pushing the oldschool sound.

Third One and Amy Bee present their new project ‘Back to Rave’, bringing the sounds of the underground to LDC radio.

Both born in York, they have been raving in Leeds together for many years. Their first introduction to the rave scene was at student nights including License to Jungle, Boombox, Habits, Jungle Jam, Sub Dub and many more at legendary Leeds venues such as Old Red Bus Station, Canal Mills and Beaverworks. Nights like these built the foundation to their music taste and ignited a passion for early rave and the roots of the underground scene.

Third One has become a face in the Leeds jungle scene, working with collectives such as License to Jungle and Olympus, and supporting artists including the jungle legend Gremlinz. Amy Bee works as an artist and illustrator – creating rave visuals and music videos for dance music collectives and artists.

This duo come armed for their weekly show with years’ worth of tunes to play. Every Sunday night from 9 til 11pm they will bring you the best of breakbeat, hardcore, jungle and drum and bass spanning the 90s to present day. Expect to hear new music from labels pushing that oldschool sound such as Metalheadz, Overshadow, Club Glow, N4 Records and many more.
