LDC Radio 97.8FM is a community station for Leeds, Bradford and West Yorkshire, where members of the community take to the air.
What we stand for
Music
A community station available 24 hours a day and aimed at the dance music community, on FM, DAB and online.
People
Members of the community broadcast on the station, following the submission of a demo and training.
Community
We often work with the community to help promote events and local charities, and the news features six times a day, Monday to Friday.
Education
Presenters join through a demo and training. The demo is where you show your current mic skills and tell us what you’d like to learn.
Opportunity
DJs can apply to host a show, and LDC Introducing takes applications and slot bookings.
Inclusion
Compared to commercial radio our schedule is very diverse: we carry a lot of shows and provide alternative output.
