DJ Solo

Solo is a monthly guest on DJ Blenda's Underground Sessions. A DJ, producer and host who has worked in the underground club scene for over two decades, Solo started out at 16 hosting on UK garage pirate stations around London such as Majic and Freek FM, which led to hosting at clubs including Camden Palace, Stratford Rex and Legends. He moved to Leeds in 2001, teamed up with DJ Blenda to form The Niceness Boyz, and held residencies at Hanky Panky, Studio Beatz, Northern Exposure and Slap n Tickle. He began producing his own music in 2010, from bassline to soulful house, and in 2014 signed to We R Bass and Eastside Records, picking up plays on Kiss FM, Rinse FM and BBC 1Xtra. His first album, Solo Mission, was followed in 2020 by joining the Audio Rehab family.
